Citing Reproduction Advance Publications

When citing Reproduction Advance Publications, please include the Digital Object Identifier (DOI). The DOI is assigned to an article at acceptance and will continue to identify that article uniquely throughout its lifetime. Importantly, when the final published version appears, it will still have the same DOI. You can also create a persistent web link using the DOI, by prefixing it with http://dx.doi.org/.... . A link made this way will always point to the latest version of the article, even if its location on the web changes.

The following is an example of how to cite a Reproduction Advance Publication:

Jones A & Smith BC 2008 Title of article. Reproduction (in press). doi:10.1530/REP-XX-XXXX

where 10.1530/REP-XX-XXXX is the article's DOI.
