EFFECTS OF HORMONES ON THE MATURATION OF RABBIT OOCYTES RECOVERED FROM FOLLICLES OF VARIOUS SIZES

Summary.: Progesterone stimulated oocytes to develop more rapidly in culture. The time-dependent effect was more pronounced on large preovulatory Graafian follicles than on small- and medium-sized follicles. Treatment with LH had no effect.
