SEX PROPORTION OF DOMESTIC CHICKEN AT 16 HOURS OF INCUBATION

N. S. FECHHEIMER, J. R. LODGE and R. C. MILLER

Summary.: The sex of 918 chicken embryos after incubation for 16 to 18 hr was ascertained by chromosomal analysis. The proportion of males was 49·45%±1·6%.
