OSMOTIC ADAPTATION OF SEA-URCHIN SPERMATOZOA

Summary.: When male sea-urchins (Lytechinus pictus) are kept in hypo-osmotic sea-water, their spermatozoa are inactive in isosmotic sea-water but active in hypo-osmotic sea-water.
